What is Core Process Psychotherapy?
Core Process psychotherapy is a mindfulness-based approach that draws both from western psychotherapeutic models and the wisdom and compassion of Buddhist psychology.
The work facilitates the capacity to be present in each moment in order to access, and work with, difficult and painful feelings. Feelings and emotions that may be restricting or keeping you stuck within a limited range of responses in key relationships and other areas of your life.
By developing the capacity to turn without judgement towards, rather than away from, such feelings it's possible to develop greater flexibility, movement and responsiveness when faced with life's inevitable challenges.
This approach works by bringing attention to thoughts, feelings and body sensations and in so doing we develop the capacity to be more present to our actual experiences.
